CREATING THEATRE WORKSHOP
THE CORE GROUP
Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st March
Join us for two days of creativity, collaboration and playful exploration at the People’s Theatre Collective shop unit next to Costa in Castle Quay Shopping Centre, Banbury.

This workshop is all about discovering different ways of making theatre together. Across the two days, you’ll take part in practical activities exploring improvisation, storytelling and creative play, guided by professional playwrights and theatre directors.
Instead of starting with a script and working alone, we’ll experiment with collective ways of creating ideas: sharing stories, trying things out and seeing what happens when a group imagines together.
Whether you enjoy performing, writing, coming up with ideas, or simply want to try something new, there’s space for everyone to take part in their own way.Come along, meet new people, build creative skills and discover what can happen when a group creates theatre together.

Wednesday 1st April
After our 2 day Creating Theatre Workshop we will have a meeting of our Core Group.
In this session we will continue our work on designing our new creative space for young people and creatively exploring the type of activities, priorities and ideas that the young people involved in the Collective want to expand or see come to fruition.

During the session we use creative conversation and activities to explore, discuss and have a say in designing the work we deliver.
​
For this day lunch will be provided from Lock 29.

PARK RANGER
Tuesday 7th - Thursday 9th March
Join us this Easter for three days of outdoor adventures, creative activities and nature exploration. Children will, make new friends and discover the natural spaces around Banbury through games, art and hands-on activities. The programme includes two days of nature-based activities around Banbury and an optional free coach trip to Science Oxford on the final day.
The project is delivered in partnership between People’s Theatre Collective and Bridge Street Community Garden,.
