continuing professional development
Our CPD programme offers training programmes and one-off sessions to schools to support staff development in theatre and the creative arts. We work with teachers and staff to weave creativity into the curriculum and support schools to develop their own
inclusive after-school theatre sessions.
enact
The Enact project explores cultures of peer-on-peer abuse and gender-based
violence in secondary schools and communities. We work to centre young people’s voices in the wider conversations that impact their lives.

what you say
"We were overwhelmed with the performance the children displayed this afternoon. with only 1 hour per class, they were so confident and enthusiastic, it was wonderful to see!"
"Our staff all feel much more confident to use drama approaches to explore subjects in the future!"
"the facilitator had such a lovely manner that the children instantly felt at ease and confident to have a go at the activities."
CPD
We have worked closely with local primary and secondary schools for many years, co-designing projects in response to the needs of children. This has often included Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training, which we’ve delivered to help teachers and support staff to incorporate inclusive drama approaches into their teaching of the National Curriculum.
We were delighted to initiate a new training programme for Banbury primary schools in 2023, with funding from Cherwell District Council. The focus of this programme, which has resulted in the creation of training sessions, mentorship and an extensive handbook, was to support teachers in establishing and maintaining their own inclusive after school drama clubs, for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children.

Bespoke Workshops
We offer a variety of practical workshops suitable for primary and secondary school drama delivered by our team of experienced artist-facilitators. Using art and theatre we create issue-based workshops. Some examples of this work include exploring a variety of topics such as inclusion, school transitions, storytelling, peer pressure and substance misuse.
