Theatre Groups
Joining a People's Theatre Collective Theatre Group, offers a unique opportunity to develop a diverse set of valuable skills whilst making new friends. During our sessions, participants can build their confidence and public speaking abilities; while collaborative projects foster teamwork, encourages innovation, problem-solving and effective communication. Our Collective provides a safe and supportive environment where members can authentically express themselves without fear of judgment, connecting with like-minded peers. We regularly work towards creating performances so there is ample opportunity to gain an understanding of production processes too. We currently run two theatre group sessions at Banbury college on a Monday evening.
Our prices
pay what you choose
We always offer a "Pay What You Choose" scale for our Theatre Groups and Holiday Provision. You can choose to pay a standard rate; pay less (usually half the standard rate) or choose to pay more (usually double the standard rate) which will help to fund another participant's space.
bursaries
We believe in accessibility and inclusivity. As a charity, we are proud to offer free bursary spaces across all of our Theatre Groups and Holiday Provision for those that need them. Bursary places exist for any young person who would otherwise be unable to attend our sessions without this financial support. If you require a bursary place - there is no need to ask and no eligibility criteria just select the relevant option when completing our online booking forms.
